The H680 is powered by a pair of Caterpillar C18 1001BHP diesel engines with ZF transmissions and electronic engine controls. Helm control stations are located in the skylounge and on the aft deck in the port & starboard wing stations. 

The Caterpillar engines, generators and ships main mechanical equipment are located in the standup engine room.  The engine room was designed to provide easy access to the ships mechanical equipment, it is well lit and offers cameras both fore & aft so the captain can monitor the space from the skylounge helm station.
