The 2004 Viking 56C is a serious offshore performer that has been extensively upgraded where it matters most. 800 AIS, satellite compass and a 96-mile open array radar. A Furuno sounder, night vision camera, Starlink

The electrical system has been modernised with new batteries throughout and a new Victron lithium system with Quattro charger / inverters. The system self-powers all onboard systems and can be recharged via solar wing, either generator, DC charging from the main engines, or 15-amp / 32-amp shore power. Twin Cummins Onan generators provide reliable onboard power.

Mechanically and structurally, the upgrades continue: new bilge pumps, new anchor chain with a Muir Storm 4000 windlass, fully rebuilt deck crane, new 24-volt bow thruster and new SeaStar steering cylinder.
