With her long foredeck, graceful deckhouse, and massive cockpit the Hatteras 60 Convertible (note that an earlier Hatteras 60 was built in 1977-86) was an impressive display of boat-building excellence by the standards of her day. She rides on a beefy modified-V hull with cored hullsides, propeller tunnels, and a deep

keel. At least eight floorplans were offered in the 60--far more than any previous Hatteras convertible. The standard layout, updated  in 2003, is arranged with three staterooms with the owner's cabin amidships and a spacious VIP stateroom at the bow. Regardless of the floorplan configuration, these are lush accommodations

indeed for a sportfishing boat. On deck, the huge cockpit of the Hatteras 60 is fitted with a full array of fishing amenities.
