This is not a refit; it is a comprehensive rebuild from the keel up. Every detail has been reconsidered and re-engineered. The project began by stripping the yacht to bare steel, replacing all marginal hull plating, and fully re-fairing both hull and superstructure. Over 70 percent of the steel deck has been renewed and laid with fresh teak. The alloy superstructure and its aluminium-to-steel bonding were found to be flawless and retained in perfect condition.

Certified under ABS and the Cayman Islands flag, ANDROMEDA LA DEA has been reclassified for unlimited commercial cruising. A watertight internal bulkhead has been added to enhance safety, along with a modern sprinkler fire suppression system?features seldom found on yachts of this era.
