Accommodations

SUNDAY MORNING sleeps six to eight owners and guests in three staterooms aft, plus two cabins forward for crew or additional guests. The interior has been thoughtfully designed and laid out to provide ample headroom throughout, generous comfortable accommodations, abundant storage, generous workspaces and lots of natural light and ventilation.

Pilothouse

The on-deck pilothouse is accessed via port and starboard doors aft in the cockpit coaming. There is full-width cushioned seating aft and long settees port and starboard with an expandable varnished teak table on centerline. Forward of the starboard settee is a drink refrigerator (2013) and storage locker. Forward of the port settee is a large chart table/nav station with hinged opening top and chart drawers beneath. The forward section of the pilothouse has a fixed overhead with front and side windows and two opening hatches. The aft section has a soft cover on a stainless steel rigid frame with windows to observe the sails. Removable side curtains provide protection from the elements and enclosure for air conditioning and heat, or allow open air as desired when rolled up. It is a great space in inclement weather or during an offshore passage.

There are two steering stations. Aft is a stainless destroyer-type wheel on a mechanical cable system to provide the true feel of sailing. There are a console with compass, various instruments, sailing instruments, chart plotter/radar and engine controls. Forward is a teak wheel with hydraulic steering and full set of all instruments for the various systems. A removable leather-covered Stidd chair provides comfortable seating during long passages. Two large 15" daylight bright screens for the radar and chart plotting systems flank the forward helm console, along with numerous electronic repeaters.

Main Saloon

The raised saloon is entered directly from the pilothouse or up three steps from the galley. Large windows to port and starboard and three across the house front provide a light and airy feel for this area while allowing full view of the surroundings, further enhanced by two large opening overhead deck hatches. An L-shaped settee to port seats eight to ten around a large hi-lo sliding teak dining table. Opposite to starboard are two leather-covered club chairs with entertainment console and lamp between, and tambour-door storage lockers outboard. Forward to starboard is a complete bar with icemaker and numerous custom lockers for glass and bottle storage, while forward to port there are custom dinnerware storage lockers and a 42" flat screen TV on the bulkhead above. The aft saloon bulkhead is configured with cabinets and bookshelves. The entertainment center features a Samsung Blue Ray DVD multi system, Yamaha amplifier and Bose surround-sound system. Aft are stairs leading down the passageway to the guest/owner accommodations or up to the pilothouse.

Master Stateroom

The master stateroom is located aft, with a queen-sized berth on center with drawers and lockers underneath. To starboard there are two large cedar-lined hanging lockers forward with bookcases and drawer storage aft. To port is a small settee with additional locker storage. A full-length framed mirror is mounted on the forward bulkhead. Eight opening cabin/hull portholes and two deck hatches provide exceptional natural light and ventilation.

Forward and to port is the master head with separate stall shower, Tecma freshwater toilet and marble countertops. Three opening ports provide light and natural ventilation.

Port Guest Cabin

The larger of the two guest cabins is to port with queen-sized berth and a single outboard upper sea berth. Features include drawer storage beneath the berth and a vanity/desk with chair and mirror at the forward inboard end of the cabin. Outboard at the foot of the berth is a three-drawer bureau with mirrored-door locker above, while inboard is a large cedar-lined hanging locker. Light and ventilation are provided by two opening hull ports and a deck prism. An ensuite head is entered directly aft and has a separate stall shower, Tecma freshwater toilet, marble counter tops and opening hull port.

Starboard Guest Cabin

The starboard guest cabin features a large lower double berth and upper outboard berth. There are multiple drawers beneath the berth and four large drawers in a bureau with mirror at the forward end of the cabin, along with cedar-lined hanging locker aft. Light and ventilation are provided by two opening hull ports and a deck prism. An ensuite private head aft includes Tecma freshwater toilet, shower, marble countertop, and opening hull port.

Galley

A notable feature of this yacht is her galley, which was completely rebuilt in 2013 to maximize storage space and provide privacy from the main salon with clever sliding and hinged doors. In addition, all appliances were replaced. Primary features include:

  • Black granite countertops
  • Custom stainless steel sink with retractable faucet
  • Force-10 five-burner gas stove and oven
  • GE microwave oven
  • Twin Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer drawers
  • Top-opening refrigerator outboard aft
  • Twin sub-sole freezer compartments
  • Miele dishwasher
  • KitchenAid trash compactor

Dinette

Opposite the galley and aft of the captain's cabin is a large L-shaped settee/dinette opening inboard with large teak table and leather cushions. It can be used as a crew mess or for casual dining by owner/guest. The storage space in lockers, drawers and beneath the settee and cabin sole is substantial. A second icemaker is outboard, in addition to the one in the main saloon bar. There is also a 21" flat screen TV with speakers.

Crew Cabin

Located forward and just aft of the sail and chain lockers, this cabin includes one lower and two upper berths. Storage is provided by numerous drawers and a cedar-lined hanging locker, and there is a hinged table on centerline forward. An overhead hatch with removable stainless ladder provides direct deck access, with four additional opening hull ports for light and ventilation.

Captain's Cabin

The captain's cabin is aft of the crew cabin and to starboard, with a double berth outboard, cedar-lined hanging locker forward and separate washer/dryer units aft. There is a tremendous amount of storage beneath the berth, which includes a small refrigerator. Four opening ports and a deck hatch provide great light and ventilation. There are remote sailing instrument and GPS displays. Across the passageway is the crew head with Tecma freshwater toilet and shower.
