We are thrilled to announce the successful sale of the Fountaine Pajot 47 Cumberland power catamaran, HAPPY, by Next Generation Yachting team members Nicolas Guitard and John "JJ" Davis. This sale marks another milestone for our brokerage, and a particularly rewarding one due to the complexity and coordination involved in completing the deal.
HAPPY, a well-maintained and sought-after model in the power catamaran market, was owned by foreign clients and registered internationally. Navigating a sale with overseas ownership, foreign registration, and cross-border logistics is never simple—but with experience, persistence, and detailed oversight, Nicolas and JJ ensured that every step of the process was handled with precision and professionalism.
From legal documentation to coordination with foreign agencies and financial institutions, the transaction required careful planning and constant communication between all parties. Despite the challenges, the results were exceptional: the sellers were extremely happy not only with the sale price but also with the seamless experience provided by the Next Generation Yachting team.
