Structural bulkheads are of Nomex honeycomb cored carbon fibre epoxy pre-preg construction and laminated to hull and deck. Stiffener flanges are unidirectional carbon lay-ups. One Hull window for propeller. Side-power retractable bowthruster, new in 2016.  Finish Topsides finished in Whisper Grey Awlgrip (2018) Shark grey stripe and boot top stripe. Bottom treated with Gel shield epoxy primer (2009) International Micron 350 black antifouling  Keel Frers design racing keel max draught 4.00m, lead bulb attached to steel fin.  Rudder Blade foam filled with carbon fibre/epoxy skins and hollow carbon fibre stock, supported by two self-aligning JP3 (Rudder service and replaced the seals in 2018)  Steering Systems Dual steering gear, sheaves provided with guards to prevent jamming. Lightweight steering quadrant bolted to rudderstock. Two 41" (1.04 m) destroyer type composite wheels, 2.0 turns H.O to H.O. Pedestals with roller bearings and friction brake. Emergency tiller stowed in lazarette.  Transom Hydraulically controlled transom door/bathing platform with teak surface. Transom hatch for shore power cables, etc connections in Lazarette. Deck Main deck is of carbon fibre pre-preg sandwich construction with Nomex honeycomb core. Laid teak, 12 mm thickness, on side and bridge deck, cockpit sole and seats, glued and vacuum bagged without screws. New teak decking fitted in 2011. Flush hatches on deck. Fore deck hatch 80cm x 80cm hinged to open 180 degrees.  Deck Equipment Pop up mooring cleats, Versari & Delmonti, forwards, amidships and aft. Pop up fairleads aft. White painted carbon fibre radar post with lights and separate arm for Bgan Satellite Antenna. Foldable anchor stowage system with carbon arm. Fold-up seats on pushpit.
